![]() Polygon also confirms that more levels and characters are set to arrive after launch. This is called “Unihorse Tower”, and it sees you scaling what appears to be an endless castle tower. Castle also features local multiplayer for up to four players, and – at launch – you can expect one playable level. Polygon mentions that it’ll support controllers, which a big relief considering that fast-paced platformers don’t always work well using touchscreen controls. Some familiar faces pop up throughout the trailer, including the Crossy Road chicken and eagle, but there's no doubt that Castle is otherwise a wild departure for the series. ![]() It sees up to four players working their way through a series of tricky levels, tackling common enemies and battling bosses as they go. ![]() Now, however, Hipster Whale has clearly opted to do something a little different, as the newly announced Crossy Road Castle is actually a multiplayer platformer. ![]()
